If you continue to receive junk emails or the filters start preventing legitimate emails from entering your mailbox, you can change the level just as easily. In case you do not want to risk omitting a genuine email message that may be classified as spam owing to its content, you can also set up custom email filters based on the body, the sender or the subject of the message and re-send the emails to some other mailbox where you can read them later.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you take advantage of one of our semi-dedicated hosting, you will not have to worry about unsolicited bulk messages clogging your mailboxes every now and then, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin spam filter that we provide with each and every semi-dedicated server account. Our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel will permit you to activate the filter for any email account with a couple of clicks of the mouse and you can choose one of the five levels of security – from very low to very high. The level can be altered at any moment if, for instance, authentic emails get blocked, or if spam emails go through and reach your Inbox folder. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered emails to be re-sent to a special mailbox like spam@your-domain.com and not to be erased. In this way, you can examine them from time to time to ensure that you haven’t missed a genuine message.
